Here’s another new one from Mom’s Dry Noodle. This one’s got something inside none of the others do – FIVE sachets. Five. That’s a lot! Let’s crack the bag open and see what’s inside.
Here’s the back of the package (click image to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. There are four packs in the bag. To prepare one pack,
Here’s one of the individual packs.
The noodle block.
A liquid sachet.
Another liquid sachet.
Has a soy sauce scent.
An oil sachet.
This one has a sesame oil scent.
One of two dry seasoning sachets.
Wasn’t sure at first but it turn out it is monosodium glutamate.
Finished (click image to enlarge). The noodles are thick and round with a nice chew to them. The flavor was a sesame sauce (notes of peanut) and sesame oil. The pepper unfortunately didn’t come through as strong as I expected. 4.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 4717011150186.
So in my last review of Mom’s Dry Noodle, I included a short documentary video of the brand. It showed Kyle and his family (Kyle’s the guy who approached me about trying their noodles) and noticed he plays bass in a band. Well, here’s a music video – the band is called ‘Nora Says’ – check them out on YouTube!
