You’ve probably seen me review Umai Crates from Japan Crate. On the back of the informational pamphlets, there’s an ad for Sugoi Mart. Sugoi Mart is an online store that sells individual items from Japan – among them, instant ramen. Mr. Lee’s Noodles started out in the UK. Priding themselves as a healthier option, they use freeze dried ingredients to give a better taste and freshness which is really quite a nice departure from the norm. I asked Maruchan about a couple of varieties I hadn’t seen before and then sent them to me which was very nice of them – thank you! There’s been a lot of confusion about MAruchan lately as I’ve seen voiced in comments on videos I’ve done about a brand that replaced their product at Walmart stores. Apparently, some people only shop at Walmart and didn’t realize there are storess all over the United States. Well, everyone has Maruchan products it seems – except Walmart. Mom’s Dry Noodle Sends Mind Blowing Spicy Crackers!
I regularly receive samples of new noodles from the folks over at Mom’s Dry Noodle in Taiwan. I got to try these a while back as part of a shipment of noodles. I thought I’d give them a try and I was just floored. These things are good! The cracker is light almost like pastry, with baked on cheese, a little tasty onion flavor, and a bit of Sichuan pepper which is a gentle nudge – unless you eat a few and then builds to a little shove! These things are awesome – check ’em out and get some!
