The last time I tried Immi I was impressed with the broth, however the noodles were rubber bands. A lot of influencers were extolling its virtues, but to me it was literally hard to eat. I know they changed things up a bit, but I never received any samples as the company had sent them originally. I asked for some as I really wanted to give them another chance. Years later, I went to the Grocery Outlet store and lo and behold, they were selling these packs for 99 cents, a fasr cry from the price I’d seen them at previously of upwards of $5. With an open mind, once again we go into the breach.
Immi Black Garlic “Chicken” Flavor Ramen Soup – United States
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodle block for 4 minutes (chewy), 5 minutes (soft). Drain noodles, saving 1 cup water. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir one minute and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, crushed red pepper, scallion, and sesame seed. Noodle was less rubbery than I remember, however when chewing I was getting the faintest of squeaks as I chewed – it was very strange and bizarre. The broth was a slightly bitter affair that I didn’t like either. It all seemed very much out of place. I really wanted to like thus but it was just not meant to be I suppose. 0.0 out of 5.0 stars.
