The Ramen Rater’s Top Ten Instant Noodles Of All Time 2025 Edition is an annual list of my favorite instant noodles that I’ve reviewed. This last year, I’ve kit some milestones I’m rather proud of, Toward the end of last year, I published by 5000th review. That’s a lot of instant noodle to try throughout the years! With my 500th review, I did a documentary as well as a behind the scenes – check those out to find out about me and what I do here. This list is based of reviews up to #5160. #4513: Urai Bihun Jagung Corn Vermicelli – Indonesia
Here’s something different – corn vermicelli! I’ve tried a different gauge of this paired with Ciptarasa mi goreng seasoning and it was really quite nice. This time I’ll try doing up a soup with Ciptaras onion chicken flavor. Let’s give it a go!

What we have here is a noodle and a seasoning combo – both by the same company. Should be pretty good – in the mood to try. Let’s check it out!
#4489: Dara Urai Flat x Cipratasa Rasa Ayam Bawang – Indonesia
So this is a noodle with no seasoning, however the company that make this makes seasoning as well, so that works out great! These are made by Suprama of Indonesia – the same folks that make Best Wok – a great line of mi goreng varieties I really like. Let’s try this noodle in concert with some special onion chicken seasoning!
Suprama Sends Unique Corn Vermicelli From Indonesia!
I’ve reviewed many varieties in noodles in my tenure as The Ramen Rater – some great, some not so great. A great one is from Suprama’s Best Wok range – they’ve got a knockout mi goreng – made my annual top ten for 2022. Today, they’ve got some neat noodle varieties they’ve send – and corn vermicelli are among them. Never heard of such a thing and tried it – great stuff! Kind of like a cross between rice vermicelli and sweet potato thread – it’s not a nice texture and not too dry. Anyways – check it out!

Turns out they have a new recipe since the last time I tried their mi goreng. Sounds great to me; seems like it would be a little difficult to improve as their stuff is really quite good. Time to get an egg frying – let’s go!
