Found this at HMart during my big early summer noodle drought of 2025… I don’t see a lot of boxed varieties, let along ones for the US. This used to be in a bowl – although maybe it still is. Anyways, sounds like a good one to try out – let’s give it a whirl!
Nongshim Udon Premium – United States
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Contains fish. To prepare, boil noodle and liquid base in 350ml water for 2-3 minutes. Finally, add garnish and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added kamaboko, crushed red pepper, scallion, and sesame seed. Udon is really one of the best out there. The broth is a balance of sweet and salty with fish notes from bonito and hint of smokiness. Garnish was on point; varied and tasty with a little texture to boot. 4.25 out of 5.0 stars.
