Well, this is embarrassing. I deleted the picture that should be above and the pictures of the bowl contents. Yes, I used undelete software – didn’t work. So, here we are. I got one from James of Lakeside and one from Noodle Journey, but alas, it was too late. Post processing, post cooking. Well, let’s cook it and try it and… Yeah.
Maruchan Birria Beef Ramen Bowl – United States
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains beef. To prepare, add in sachets and fill to line with room temp water. Microwave ‘on high’ for 3 minutes and let sit an additional minute. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added Chinese sausage, fried egg, Texas Pete Sauteed Garlic hot sauce, scallion, and crushed red pepper. Noodle hydrated well and came out fine. The broth was red and thick. It had bits of soy protein that came through as chunks of gristle which I found highly troublesome. There was a bitterness throughout I didn’t like either.
