Today it’s tonkotsu which makes me happy to no end. The creamy pork bone broth generally is a comfort food which is just so nice. Let’s give this one a try!
Yamamoto Tanuki Oyaji Tonkotsu Ramen – Japan

Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodles in 500ml water for 3 minutes. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Two wet sachets of soup base.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, marinated egg, chashu, narutomaki, sesame seed, spring onion, chili oil, and shichimi. Straight noodles with a very good chew to them set the stage. The broth is creamy and very flavorful. Savory and umami to the end. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4979397600031.
