Okay so this is the local South Korean version of this variety. I’ve had it before as an export. Let’s see if it’s any different!
Paldo Bul Jjamppong – South Korea
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Contains seafood. To prepare, add flake and sauce sachets to 550ml water and bring to a boil. Add in noodle block and cook 5 minutes. Add in oil sachet. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, raw egg, shrimp, Sichuan pepper powder, crab stick, spring onion, and fish ball. Noodles are great – very thick and chewy – almost udon byst just bot quite. The broth has an exquisite grilled seafood taste to it – especially after the garnish oil is added.
