Well, here we are folks. A few years ago, I tried Culley’s World’s Hottest Ramen Noodles 1.0. It’s funny; things that say ‘best ever’ and ‘greatest’ or ‘world’s’ often end up with a bit of disappointment. This delivers, and is an apt title. The 1.0 certainly was as such. This one as well. This transcends spiciness; it’s got Carolina Reaper and Ghost pepper mash in the wet sachet. I believe there’s reaper in the togarashi sachet as well. Indeed, some foreboding stuff going on here.
So you might think ‘with a claim like that, I bet it’s not hot at all.’ Well, you’d be wrong. Mr. Culley has let me know that this is hotter than the original version, which was quite hjonestly the hottest variety I’ve had to date and it blew my head off and had me writhing on the floor for hours. Not joking. Here’s the unboxing, and below that is the video where I ate the original 1.0 version and as you can see and hear, it cleaned my clock. You might be wondering when you will get to see me go through the baptism of fire yet again – and all I can say is that it will be quite soon. It’ll be getting fast tracked too, so I’m guessing in the first week of 2024. Plan is to do it on a day the kids have a full day of school so I can do it right away and have time to recover and get a full kitchen cleaning done as getting this in their eyes or mouth would be really more painful that I can imagine. This is a big and somewhat heavy bowl from Taiwan. I’ve reviewed the version not made for export (this one usually goes to Hong Kong). What was funny about this one is that I found it up in Canada at a store in Aberdeen Centre – defintely not where this belongs. It’s full of beef and import restrictions would bar it from Canada. What a nice surprise! Let’s check out this one with Australian and New Zealand beef!
I got an email from Mr. Cullen a few weeks ago asking if I would be interested in trying his new spicy product. I definitely was – but what really piqued my interest what that this was coming from a company in New Zealand. I haven’t reviews many products from New Zealand and this being one with such a lofty claim really was interesting to me. It contains Carolina Reaper pepper mash. I’ve seen many do the challenge where they eat a raw Carolina Reaper pepper in one bite and then endure the consequences. But I have to say that the spiciest on on my top ten spicy list isn’t a slouch by any means, and I’m extremely curious how this will compare. Let’s do this.

It’s made with the infamous Carolina Reaper Pepper – something I’ll admit I’ve not come in contact with. This is my first look at them and I take a little time to check out what comes in the box as well as the ingredients and some nutrition stats.
