Here’s another one I found at Saar’s Super Saver where HT Oaktree used to be. These seemed to be on clearance? I don’t know – but it looked interesting. Cheese-dak clone? Let’s find out.
Vifon Hot Chicken Cheese Dried Mix Instant Noodle – Vietnam

A distributor / import sticker (click to enlarge).

Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, steet noodle in 400ml water. Drain. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

An instant noodle block.

A powder seasoning base sachet.

A sachet of liquid soup base.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added chicken, sesame seed, scallion, and crushed red pepper. No complaints about the noodle – nice gauge and chew for a steeped variety. The flavor? The noodles are indeed slippery with the sauce which I liked – not too dry. But it tastes like a combination of sugar, coffee, and I don’t know what. It just is all out strange and very funky. 1.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 8935311103145.
