Another find at S*Mart in Bellevue, Washington. I think what’s happening here is Sapporo Ichiban is distributing Marutai made tonkotsu. Whatever’s going on, I like it – the last one I had was delectable. Let’s give it a try!
Sapporo Ichiban x Marutai Kagoshima-Style Creamy Tonkotsu Flavor Ramen – United States

Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but look for yourself. To prepare, boil a bundle of ramen in 450ml water for 3 minutes. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Two bundles of noodles.

A sachet of soup base powder seasoning.

A sachet of seasoned oil.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added pepper thread, sesame seed, LKK Chili Crisp, scallion, egg, narutomaki, and chashu. Noodle? Just right – thin, nice chewiness to it straight noodle. The broth is very rich – sumptuous. Salty, porky, and very tasty with little dark bits floating about. Highly recommend. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 850061065025.
