
Another from S*Mart! When I opened this pack the smell of garlic was real strong – curiosity has me in its grips… Last time I had a crayfish flavor variety from China it was violently spicy… Let’s give it a whirl!
Hi A’Kuan Rice Noodle Garlic Crayfish Flavor – China

Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add boiling water and loosen noodle. Drain. Add 350ml boiling water and sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added sesame seed, scallion, and crushed red pepper. Rice noodle was pretty good – nice gauge and chew. Broth has a little sting to it and a nice oiliness and flavor. The problem here was a thing I’ve come across a lot lately. The noodle and broth seem to be at odds with eachother and don’t marry well. Whilre I like them both, I think a different noodle for this broth would have been a nicety. 3.25 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 6926410324939.
