I’m really intrigued with these bowls. This was sent by Pher Engi – thanks again! A beef tomato eh? It looks to have a nice little spherical surprise – let’s have a look!
Yang Zhang Gui Braised Bowl Beef With Tomato – China
A distributor / import sticker (click to enlarge).
This was under the sticker! A bit of instructions to see (click to enlarge).
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Unsure if it contains meat – check for yourself. To prepare, add everything to the bowl and fill to line with boiling water. Cover 4~6 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!
Detail of the lid (click to enlarge).
An instant noodle block.
Rice vermicelli.
A sachet of vegetables.
A sachet of liquid soup base.
A sachet of seasoned oil.
Quail eggs!
A garnish sachet.
A sachet of bean sprouts.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added LKK Chin Chiu Chili Crisp In Oil, scallion, sesame seed. The mouthfeel interplay of the noodle and the vermicelli is really interesting – and good. The broth has a beef and tomato niceness to it – oily and tasty. Bits of mung bean sprout was good, and included veg was tops. The quail eggs that came with? A smaller version of braised egg from the previous variety – kinda rubber with a slightly chalky inside, but really a nice little compliment. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 6972306782772.
