Big thanks to Noodle Journey for this one! My God – what a past few weeks. We’ve gone through some seasonal colds, holidays, ice, snow, snow days… I have been stuck at home, so I’ve been reviewing – a LOT! Just want to go outside and walk around but it’s been hell getting to be able to. Yesterday was a snow day and it melted a lot – this morning it got into the mid 20s – so all that melt has turned into ice. Bah. It’s not permanent – it’s not like, forever, though…
Samyang Cootiq Truffle Pasta – South Korea
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Unsure if it is meat free – check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodle and flake sachet contents 4-5 minutes. Drain. Add remaining sachets. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added scallion, sesame seed, and chicken sauteed with garlic salt, chili oil, and paprika. Noodle was perfect at 4 minutes – just a little al dente. The flavor was excellent – a creamy and rich sauce with a truffle flavor – it wasn’t incredibly strong but it was there.
