When I get to review a Baixiang variety, I get a little excited. I’ve always liked these – and this one’s unique – mutton! Wish I had some for garnish… But that’s okay it should be good stuff. I actually emailed Baixiang last night in hopes of a collab, so that could be happening. For now, let’s give this a try!
Baixiang Yummy Soup Mutton Flavor Noodles – China
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodle and garnish for 3 minutes. Add in remaining sachets and cook 1 additional minute. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added scallion, sesame seed, and Sichuan peppercorn powder. Noodle is plentiful and a great example of the good noodle you find from the company. The broth has a nice savory element, not overly salty, a hint or two of pepperiness, good oiliness… It’s really a nice bowl of noodle – a big bowl as well. 4.5 out of 5.0 stars.
