After our last bread experiment went horribly wrong, I decided to regroup and make something that seemed like it could not go wrong. Also, it’s curry. Curry bread! This is going to be good, right? It must be!
KampongKu Curry Chicken Ramen Bread!
Oh, it’s time to make curry bread!
- 1 block KampongKu noodle
- 1 package KampongKu Curry Chicken paste
- 3/4 cups water
- 2 1/4 cups bread flour
- Add in water, paste, sugar, then 1 cup flour, cooked noodle block (drained), rest of flour, then yeast
- Set bread machine to BASIC and LIGHT
- Let ‘er rip – be gentle with it, adding a little cooking spray and water only if necessary
Finished (click to enlarge). Added spring onion, fried egg, sesame seed, and Chabe sweet chili sauce. Okay yeah – this is what I’m talking about! This came out extremely well – nice sponge to it and density was very good. Very happy with this loaf – it’s got a strong curry flavor and sliced super well. What’s next? Stay tuned!
