This one is quite confusing from the text they included about it. Things about pinching one’s cheeks and how it will make you delighted beyond delight. I get that the noodle should be a little chewier and is has wonton and bamboo shoot. Let’s check it out.

Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains pork and chicken. To prepare, add boiling water to fill line and cover for 5 minutes. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Detail of the lid (click to enlarge).

The noodle block.

Loose bits from the cup.

A wet sachet affixed to the lid.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, Lao Gan Ma Spicy Chili Crisp, seaweed, spring onion, sesame seed, chilli oil, and Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts. Noodles have an interesting interplay with one another which kind of made them rub against one another in a way that produced a not so great mouthfeel for me. The broth has a strong bonito aspect, but it mingles well with a chicken element and a nice oiliness. Wonton was good. 3.75 out of 5.0 stars.  JAN bar code 4901071246549.
