Here’s the first of two varieties that PLN Food Co. Ltd. of Taiwan sent over. This is not an instant variety – this is a frozen variety! They went to extreme lengths to send it over for my review and I’m really excited to try them! Let’s have a look.
PLN Food Co. Ltd. Classic Dry Noodle – Taiwan
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodles directly from the freezer (both blocks) for 60~90 seconds. Drain. add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added sesame seed, egg, pepper flake, chashu, and spring onion. The noodles – oh boy! I would call these million dollar noodles. I would wager that these have the best gauge and chew of any noodle I’ve tried. They have a high quality to them and are just a joy to chew. The flavor is a soy, a spicy, a savory from the onion – it just all works so well together and was a no-brainer for this to be 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. Just fantastic. EAN bar code 4712366991279.
