I thought I ought to start at the beginning. I’m pretty sure this and the rice wine spring chicken varieties are the first that TTL shared with the world and it just made sense to go with those to begin Meet The Manufacturer. Here’s a little about Shaoxing wine, featured in this variety from Wikipedia –
Shaoxing wine (Shaohing, Shaoshing) is one of the most famous varieties of huangjiu, or traditional Chinese wines, fermented from rice. It originates from the region of Shaoxing, in the Zhejiang province of eastern China. It is widely used as both a beverage and a cooking wine in Chinese cuisine. It is internationally well known and renowned throughout mainland China, as well as in Taiwan and Southeast Asia.

TTL Spring Chicken With Hua-Diao Liquor Instant Noodle – Taiwan
Here’s the back of the package (click to enlarge). Contains chicken. To prepare, add noodles to 500ml boiling water for 3 minutes. Add in all sachets. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added scallion. The noodles were a standard instant and had a soft tooth. Broth was very rich – the chicken flavor and chicken combined with the wine really gave is a different complexity. It was really quite good. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 4710199108963.
