Here’s one from Myanmar. This looks unlike about everything I’ve ever seen by MAMA insofar as packaging goes. I notice I also have a Korean Kitchen one which also looks much different. Sounds interesting – let’s check it out!
Here’s the back of the package (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add contents to 350ml boiling water and cook for 2 minutes. Stir and enjoy!
The noodle block.
The soup base sachet.
Has a spicy scent.
A seasoned oil sachet.
A very orange oil!
Finished (click to enlarge). Added Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, white onion, Chinese sausage and spring onion. The noodles have a standard gauge and reasonable chew to them. The broth is interesting; it’s oily and has a little heat. The flavor is kind of a slightly salted herb kind of thing; like a different bah kut teh perhaps. 3.25 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 9510613801136.
Probably the most well-known MAMA instant – MAMA Instant Noodle, Tom Yum Shrimp Spicy Flavor, 3.17 Ounce (Pack of 20)
While the US news is coated with our own elections, Myanmar just had a very important election – here’s a news story about it.
