
Frank over at 5am Ramen sent me this in a box of varieties – thanks! He’s got some really premium stuff like this for sale – and he does guides and tours over in Japan as well! So this one was a bit to figure out but I used image translate and it all made sense with that drainage spout. It’s there if you want to drain the hot water and add cold to have it cold. I decided to do it hot – here we go!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, narutomaki, sesame seed, LKK Chiu Chow Chili Crisp In Oil, and scallion. Noodle is very nice – good tension and chew. The broth was pretty good – a little on the fish end of the stick for my liking. The garnish of tempura and seaweed worked well and the pieces of chicken and other veg was very good. 4.5 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4903088017082.
