Wow. I didn’t know what I was in for with this one! The noodle has to be boiled for 40 minutes! That’s a long time. The other way is to soak the noodles for 12 hours then only boil for 15 minutes instead. Sheesh! Guess we’ll have to figure that out as far as time goes. It definitely sounds good! Let’s give it a try.

Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, soak noodle 12 hours. Drain and then boil 15 minutes. In a pan, fry the sauce, add meat and veg as you like, then add in noodle and second sachet. Stir fry until done. Enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added chashu, scallion, and sesame seed. Noodle was quite good – thick with a little chew. The flavor was really interesting. Not lethally spicy. It was tasty with quite a bit of sauce, but hard to figure out what it was supposed to be; it was surprisingly muted for a Chinese variety like this. Interesting and compelling. 4.0 out of 5.0 stars.
