Hey Nissin you’ve been holding out! This is a new one I found at my local Safeway supermarket of all places. There are two siblings in this range – a tonkotsu and a coconut curry – both of which I’m all over. Let’s try this one.
Nissin Top Ramen Hot Pot Fusions Korean Spicy Beef – United States
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains beef. To prepare, add in dry sachets bowl and room temperature water to line. Microwave 5 minutes at 1000W. Add in liquid base sachet. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, Chinese sausage, scallion, crushed red pepper, and sesame seed. Noodle is quite good – thick and chewy. Broth is certainly leaning towards a Korean variety. The flavor and heat had a bitter aftertaste – I wasn’t too happy about that. Regardless, there were slices of garlic in there of optimal size – which appeals to me greatly. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars.
