I dedicate this one to my late friend Jamie. These were the kinds of noodle things we generally poked fun at a lot. I must say though that the absence of the words inspired, authentic, and fusion seem to be missing where something like this may even have all three. Those are generally the opposite of what is found. Let’s give this one, found at Grocery Outlet Bargain Market.
Simply Asia Soy Ginger Noodle Bowl – United States

Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add in noodle and vegetable sachet and pour liquid base on top and add 2 tbsp water. Cover loosely with lid and microwave 90 seconds at 1000W. Stir, add toppings, and enjoy!

A pouch of noodles.

A large sachet of liquid soup base.

A sachet of vegetables.

Looks to be sesame seed.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added sesame seed, scallion, and Chinese sausage. Noodle was alright; a little mushy but not too horrible. Horrible comes in with the taste. Soy? Ginger? Try sweet and tart gelatinous. Vegetables were there, yes, but didn’t save it. 0.0 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 854288500084.
