Well, I overslept… So, it’s time to get stuff done. We were up really late – the plan was to watch Stand By Me, but couldn’t find it so we ended up watching the new version of Running Man – at least part of it. Surprisingly it wasn’t bad. Anyways, enough of our exceedingly late night viewing antics – let’s try this pack version of their Chili flavor – the cup version was really great so we shall see.

Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add 250ml water to a pan and bring to a boil. Add noodle and clear veg sachet. Cook for 3 minutes. Add in sauce. Finally, stir and enjoy!

An instant noodle block.

A sachet of liquid soup base.

A sachet of vegetables.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, shichimi, narutomaki, chashu, scallion, and mayonnaise. Noodle is a tad thicker than the cup version – I think it works slightly better for the pack version so it gets a little edge on the cup. The flavor is about the same – a tinge more vinegary which I like and a little bit of well behaved heat is on top of the standard classic sauce yakisoba tamarind flavor. Really nice and veg did well to boot. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 5997523324292.
