I tried the curry version recently and wasn’t incredibly happy about it, but maybe a KBBQ version might be better. Found these at HMart so that was nice. What’s more, this is made in Poland for US export – fascinating! Let’s give it a try!
Ajinomoto Oyakata Yakisoba Korean BBQ – United States
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, fill to line with boiling water and cover 3 minutes. Drain. Add in liquid base. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added scallion, chashu, mayonnaise, shichimi, and sesame seed. Noodle is fluffy and came out well hydrated. The flavor on this one wasn’t incredibly salty which I appreciated over their curry flavor offering. The flavor if blindfolded wouldn’t say Korean BBQ to me, but it was good. The included bits were alright in quantity bit so so if they’re going for anything other than an affectation. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 850064818048.
