You’re probably wondering ‘whoa what’s with the jump in numbers here?’ Well, I pushed the wrong button. My fancy keyboard is now doing double letters on the i’s and r’s intermittently as well. But here’s a sneak peek and one of a series from these folks – neat stuff!

Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Contains shrimp and fish. To prepare, boil noodle in 600ml water for 8 minutes. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Two servings of udon.

Two liquid soup base sachets.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added fishcake, chashu, sesame seed, shichimi, and scallion. Udon is just a knockout – gauge and chew are perfect. The broth has an almost bacon scent and light flavor. A little stronger taste would be something I’d enjoy. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars.  EAN bar code 4897878920020.
