Viet Cuisine Shiitake Instant Bean Thread – Vietnam
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add everything but large sachet in. Add 400ml boiling water. Cover with large sachet on top for 3 minutes. Add large sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

A large sachet called a retort pouch.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added coriander, sesame seed, and crushed red pepper. Bean thread was well hydrated and standard thinness. Broth was actually very good – good oiliness and flavor was mushroom, but not overly earthy. The pieces of shiitake were very good – meaty in nature.
