Kenchan Ramen Japanese Soba Noodles Yuzu Spice – United States
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, boil 2 bundles noodles for 4 minutes. Drain. Add sachet contents to 8-10oz boiling water and comnbine. Add in noodles. Finally, stir and enjoy!
Four bundles of soba noodles.
Two servings of liquid soup base.
Two sachets of shichimi togarashi.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added scallion, chashu, sesame seed, mung bean sprouts, and chili thread. These are pretty thick buckwheat noodles – and strangely enough, I do like them; nice ittle crumbly chewy nature to them. The broth is a tangy and savory sweet and soy concoction and the little bump of shichimi with yuzu was very nice. Surprised how much I enjoyed this one. 4.5 out of 5.0 stars. Amazon – I’m on a current mission to figure out how to make my own chili thread…
