#10: Nissin Cup Noodles Tom Yam Seafood Flavour

The Ramen Rater's Top Ten Singaporean Instant Noodles Of All Time 2026 Edition

A nice tom yam that hits all the standard notes – spicy, lemongrass, and seafood. A lot of noodles in this one as well. Original review

#9: Nissin Cup Noodles Spicy Seafood Flavour

A big extra here is all the extra garnish. The extra bit of spiciness gives added little kick to it as well. Original review

#8: KOKA Signature Laksa Singapura Instant Noodles

A quick one – only two minute cooking time, however the noodle gets done in the short period. What I really loved about this one is the broth which is creamy and savory – Super tasty stuff – and the garnish of vegetables is seasonal which is a nice touch. Original review

#7: Nissin Cup Noodles Fish Head Curry Flavour

Your standard Cup Noodles fare insofar as the noodle is concerned, but the broth is really great. A very tasty fish and curry combo that includes tofu puff and a myriad of garnish really works well in this one. Original review

#6: Nissin Ippudo Shiromaru Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen

The Ramen Rater's Top Ten Singaporean Instant Noodles Of All Time 2026 Edition

Thin noodles are just a little brittle which I really like in this particular variety. Pair that with a very rich tonkotsu broth and you’ve got a seriously great collaboration. Original review

#5: Prima Taste Singapore Curry La Mian

The Ramen Rater's Top Ten Singaporean Instant Noodles Of All Time 2026 Edition

A wonderful noodle – very chewy and thick pairs like a dream with a sumptuous thick curry broth. I can’t say enough about this stuff. Original review

#4: Nissin x Irvins Salted Egg Flavour

I never really realized gow much I enjoyed salted egg flavored things until I tried this. The thin, flat noodle is soft and plentiful. Then you have the salted egg flavor, and to top it off, an egg crumble which adds a little texture. I could eat this one daily. Original review

#3: Nissin x 328 Katong Laksa Laksa Flavour

The Ramen Rater's Top Ten Singaporean Instant Noodles Of All Time 2026 Edition

This is the best noodle bowl I’ve had and it’s the new number one on my bowls top ten. A thick chewy noodle is where we start. Next, a creamy and oily curry broth which is enhanced by little shrimp balls. This is seriously amazing – wish I had more of it. Original review

#2: Prima Taste Singapore Black Pepper Crab La Mian

The Ramen Rater's Top Ten Singaporean Instant Noodles Of All Time 2026 Edition

I think they did something to this one because I couldn’t put it down. Take the legendary noodle, then add a lavish and saucy black pepper sauce. Wow. The black pepper isn’t so strong it overwhelms; it’s very savory and balanced. A truly wonderful variety. Original review

#1: Prima Taste Singapore Laksa Wholegrain La Mian

Prima Taste Singapore Laksa Wholegrain La Mian

This choice for number one should be of no surprise for those who follow my reviews. For the last ten – yes ten – years, this Prima Taste Wholegrain Laksa has been number one on my global top ten and with good reason. The noodle is just amazing – great gauge and texture; not gritty and very artisan. The broth is pure bliss with a thickness and oiliness coupled with coconut milk powder and just savory for days. I love this stuff. I think if someone makes an even better variety than this I’ll uplorry. Original review

Definitive Guides

Definitive Guides

This year, I’ve decided to do a special series called Definitive Guides. Recipes, trivia, history, and more on some of the most loved and fascinating varieties of instant noodles around the world! So far, I’ve got one on Nongshim’s Shin Ramyun, and Indomie’s Mi Goreng and Nissin Foods’ Cup Noodles Pumpkin Spice! Very recently, I released a Definitive Guide To Maruchan Ramen Noodle Soup. Future guides will include MAMA Tom Yum, and more. My plan is do feature one or two products from each country.
