Here’s one the folks sent all the way from Singapore for me – thanks! This one isn’t available in the United States. I’ve tried it before, but they included a special sachet of powder to give it more oomph. Let’s give it a try!
Prima Taste Singapore Prawn Soup La Mian – Singapore
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Contains prawn. To prepare, boil noodle block in 500ml water for 5 minutes. Add in included sachets and cook another 2 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added marinated egg, shrimp, sesame seed, chili flake, and spring onion. The noodle is exemplary as always, with a very sturdy chew and calm demeanor. The broth on this one differs from the rest. It has that tension which gives it a little thicker pledge to it, however as before the flavor while very good just keeps me wanting more of it. The extra sachet was a nice addition, but I certainly need about 3x the prawn strength. I just have to say when it comes to prawn, I need a prawnsalught of it. 4.5 out of 5.0 stars.
