Tanuki is another name for an animal called a raccoon dog in Japan. Well, they have little statues of these guys next to ramen restaurants and the statues have enormous testicles. It’s weird. Anyways, this sound like good stuff – let’s check it out!

Yamamoto Seifun Tanuki’s Father Pork Bone Ramen – Japan

Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Unsure whether it contains meat so check for yourself. To prepare, Boil noodles in 450ml water for 3 minutes. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added marinated egg, Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, spring onion, shichimi, chili oil, chashu, narutomaki, and sesame seed. Noodle is a slightly chewy curly fried noodle.
