#1985: Prima Taste Singapore Prawn Soup La Mian

Today, I am really stoked to be reviewing something brand new – Prawn Soup. It’s been a couple years since Prima Taste has rolled out a new Singapore La Mian and this is it! Prawn Soup! . I do like prawns alot! Let’s check this one out!

The back of the package (click to enlarge). Contains rustaceans. To prepare, add noodles to 500ml boiling water and cook for 5 minutes. Add contents of sachets and cook an additional 2 minutes. Stir and enjoy!

The noodle block.

The prawn soup stock – two large sachets.

Looks and smells nice.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added Dodo fishballs, Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, coriander, chilli flake and chashu pork. The noodles are Prima Taste’s trademark La Mian – perfect gauge and chew; what I’d expect from a restaurant. The broth has a very rich and luxuriant prawn flavor, with a depth and heartiness that makes me feel like it’s been cooking for hours instead of minutes. It’s kind of buttery and sweet as well. Definitely not spicy like their Laksa and Curry offerings; more like the Fish Soup, just very very prawn! 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 8886350068066.

This Laksa has been on my Top Ten for a few years now – excellent! Prima Taste Laksa La Mian, 185g, (Pack of 6)
