Well here we are. The last of the French Samyang stuff. I’ve really found these to be really quite good and hope to see more from them at some time soon – maybe packs? Anyways, this is a coconut chicken flavored variety. Let’s dig in!
Maison De Coree x Samyang Ramen Gout Coco Poulet – France
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add in dry sachet and boiling water to fill line. Cover for 3 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!
Finished (click to enlarge). This was nice. A good gauge of noodle with a soft tooth meets a very strong chicken flavor and coconut taste broth. Kind of like ‘chicken noodle plus.’ Not bad. 3.75 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 8805957019486.
Here’s another interesting one from South Korea for a French company. Pretty neat I must say. Korean BBQ is one of my absolutely favorite things. Marinated meats cooked at your table and served with a myriad of banchan; an array of small plates with different pickled and otherwise modified vegetables and tofu. Let’s give this a close look.
Maison De Coree x Samyang Ramen Gout BBQ Coreen – France
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains fish. To prepare, add boiling water to fill line and cover for 3 minutes. Drain. add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!
Finished (click to enlarge). Added Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, green onion, sesame seed, and bbq pork. The noodles come out well – not spongy and with a decent chew. The sauce really goes the extra mile – taste like the Korean BBQ sauce we’ve used many times for cooking at home. Included vegetable garnish was on point and crisp. I really do hope a pack version of this comes out! 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 8805957019479.
I was looking on Facebook and a friend from Samyang Foods posted something about developing a range specifically for France. Having never reviewed anything for the French marketplace, I thought this would be really great to try. Well, they arrived recently and so today we start with this interesting variety. What is it? Well, most likely it’s the standard buldak bokkeummyun fire noodle in different clothes. But we’ll find out. Let’s have a look!
Maison De Coree x Samyang Foods Ramen Gout Poulet Feu – France
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add boiling water to fill line and cover for 3 minutes. Drain. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!
Finished (click to enlarge). The noodles were a bit thinner and chewier then the ones in the regular buldak bokkeummyun cup you may have had. Enjoyed them. The flavor was very close but a little tastier. Spiciness seemed less. Honestly, I liked this quite a bit! 4.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 8805957019455.
Saw a post from a contact at Samyang Foods mentioning France and was very curious and so asked if I could get more info. Well, a box arrived pretty quick – full of their products specifically for the French market! Since these are only for the French market, they get the France label – the first ever! Let’s have a look at these!
