Good morning, or good afternoon – it’s Saturday! We were up late – watched a movie called The Substance – if you like weird, it’s gonna fit the bill. Anyways, it’s a big day around here. My daughter Mimi is taking part in a special ‘Chorus Club’ performance at city hall with her school music class so that’s pretty awesome. But first thing I’m doing is editing images of noodles/taking pictures, etc. Next is to do this post and then cook, so that’s what’s going on. Let’s do this.
Nissin Soba Sweet & Sour – Germany

Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Says it is Vegan but check for yourself. To prepare, fill to line with boiling water and cover 3 minutes. Drain using lid and add liquid base. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Detail of the lid (click to enlarge).

An instant noodle block.

A sachet of liquid base.

Loose bits and seasoning from the cup.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added chashu, mayonnaise, narutomaki, sesame seed, egg, and scallion. Noodle hydrated very well. The drain spout worked perfectly as well. The flavor though; it’s unmistakably sweet and sour – even down to the pineapple juice notes. I was pretty surprised – usually something like this would have that funky cane sugar juice thing going on or have an acidic and off flavor – but not this one – it’s spot on! Included veg was good as well. 4.75 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 5997523313296.
Amazon – Pretty stoked – this is really cheap
