Well this in the third in a series of bargain store finds – this was purchased for $299 at Grocery Outlet Bargain Market in Kenmore, WA for $2.99. That’s cheap! I reviewed it’s non-export version a little while back, which I found at HMart. I like this – I am guessing its the same but the imagery is very different – and the ‘XXX-Picy’ is really neat/weird! It’s a cold noodle. Let’s prepare it!

Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Contains beef. To prepare, boil noodle for 4 1/2 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, scallion, and sesame seed. Non fried noodle lent itself very well to cold climate of this variety. The flavor was a spicy and sweet one two punch, leaning heavby on the spicy side of things. Garnish was great as it added a nice crunch. Very pleased. 4.5 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 03114600928.
