The Wonderful Easy Ramen Grilled Cheese!

I went out walking yesterday morning and it was cold – like 17 degrees cold. That’s -7 to those blessed with the mtric system. Anyways, wind chill dropped it to 8 and it was cold – bitter cold. While out walking, I had a thought – it would be fun to make something weird in the kitchen after I did my regular reviews for the day. So, that’s what I did and here it is.

I’ve been reviewing instant noodles since 2002, doing episodes of Instant Noodle Recipe Time, The Chocolate Break with my wife, Professional Mukbang, Unboxing Time With The Ramen Rater and more. Right now, we’re in a pretty crummy financial situation and hoping that some of the fans will be able to help out – a lot of bills, loss of some resources, and ongoing illness have all contributed to being a perfect storm which is very hard. . Big thank you from all who have already!! Please check the link here for details – thank you.

You will need:

  • Wonder bread
  • Velveeta slice
  • Best Foods mayonnaise (Hellman’s if you’re of the eastern persuasion)
  • Claussen pickle juice (that’s the refrigerated section sandwich slices one)
  • Maruchan Creamy Chicken Ramen Noodle Soup

To prepare, boil noodle with seasoning and a little water and pickle juice for 3 minutes and drain. Spray some PAM cooking spray in a skillet and then add slice of bread, then mayo, then noodles, then cheese, then mayo, then bread on top. Cook both side.

Finished (click to enlarge). Not bad – it’s cheesy and noodley and has a tinge of pickleness. It’s kind of like you let your kids be watched by some kind of weird babysitter who thought this was something entirely logical to prepare. Anyways, yeah you could do this if you want.

A side view for your pleasure (click to enlarge).
