#3329: Nissin Cup Noodles Dark Dragon Sabor Salsa Negra Y Limon - Mexico

I just have to say – what an ominous name for an instant noodle! I really dig that! When I saw this, I had to contact Nissin Mexico and see if I could get some. Well, they sent it! They also sent three U.F.O. Yakisoba varieties as well which you’ll see on upcoming reviews.

It’s been so crazy lately; apartment remodel, sinus infection, wife in the hospital (note this review is appearing about 100 days after I wrote it and fingers crossed shes getting out the day I’m writing it). It’s nice that things are at the cusp of really coming back to normal and things will be mellower. Let’s give this a try and check out the videos at the end – the regular Instant Noodle Recipe Time as well as the Spicy Noodle Mukbang! Let’s go!

Detail of the cardboard outer packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, open lid halfway and add boiling water to line. Cover 3 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Loose bits from the cup.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added baked chicken, cilantro, mozarella, fried onion, and Cholula Chili Garlic hot sauce. The noodles are really quite good in this one – round and a kind of whole grain-ness to them. The broth is like what I would envision a Mexican tom yum to be. Good heat and good crisp flavor from lemon. All in all quite impressed. 3.75 out of 5.0 stars.  UPC bar code 070662247198.
