Meet The Manufacturer: #2003: Nissin Raoh Rich Miso Flavor

So this one confused me a little; I was sure I’d reviewed it before. In fact, here is review #1069. I’m noticing a couple of differences though. First, different bar code. Second, different water amount. Notice this one says 400ml for 5 minutes whereas the other says 430ml for 5 minutes. Curious. Let’s take a look and see what makes this big fancy bowl tick.

Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains pork. To prepare, add in pork and vegetable sachets. Add boiling water to fill line and cover. Let sit 5 minutes. Stir and add in remaining sachets. Stir and enjoy!

Detail of the lid (click to enlarge).

The noodle block.

The liquid soup base sachet.

Has a nice miso scent.

Powder soup base sachet.

A granular powder. No face in it this time around.

The vegetables sachet.

Looks like corn, cabbage and spring onion.

The meat sachet.

Dehydrated chashu pork!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added hard boiled egg. The noodles hydrated very nicely and have a nice chew to them – very premium and luxuriant. The broth is also luxuriant – silky and full of rich miso flavor. The vegetables hydrated well – the corn was very good. The chashu pork is such a perfect touch. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code 4902105224342.
