#1507: Nissin Chu Qian Yi Ding Prawn Flavour Instant Noodles With Soup Base

Here’s another one the nice folks at MyKuali got me on our trip to visit them in Malaysia! Thanks again! Wow – I must say I really miss Malaysia! Was such a vibrant place – and the food! These noodles are made made in Singapore. Singapore is at the far southern border of Malaysia, so it makes sense they’d sell them in Malaysia too. Anyways, yeah – this is one of the special packs I brought back so I’m excited to eat it! Let’s check it out!

Here’s the back of the package (click image to enlarge). Contains chicken and seafood. To prepare, boil noodles in 450ml water for 3 minutes. Add contents of sachet and stir. Enjoy!

The noodle block.

The soup base sachet.

Has a strong prawn scent.

Finished (click image to enlarge). Added sweet onion, prawns and hard boiled egg. The noodles are good – a standard chewiness that you would expect in an instant. Maybe a hair chewier. The broth is also kind of what you would expect – a nice prawn flavor and a little buttery. The broth has a slight thickness to it which I liked. A good bowl – 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 8888279210038.

Here’s a combo pack of varieties you can get here in the United States. These are made in Hong Kong.

Wow – if I had this I would never leave my house! Nissin Pachinko? Awesome!
