Okay and here we go with review #300! It’s really getting hard to find ones I haven’t sampled and reviewed yet so if anyone would like to send me some that would be really much appreciated! So here’s #300, spinach onion time!
This pack actually contains four servings. I like how the silver ones say soup bag in English and the seasoned oil says nothing in English. I also like the fact that this packaging doesn’t tell you how much water to use. I figured draining the water off was the best bet.
Kinda green going on – spinach’ll do that!
Seasoning powder and seasoned oil.

The noodles are broad and the perfect texture. The seasonings are exactly what they purport to be and brilliantly done. Adding egg and ginger compliments the dish quite nice, and the shallot just makes sense. Altogether, I think this goes up there in the hallowed ranks of the almighty five stars. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. To make things more awesome, here’s the commercial for this product! It’s the one all the way on the left.
So spell-check wasn’t working the day you made the lid for this stuff was it folks? No matter – I will be forgiving on that note as I review a bowl of noodles that claims to have onion flavor – and I really like onions so this should be awesome!
Interesting – a veggie pack and an oil pack. The veggie pack was simply a ton of green onions and the oil pack was thick and lots of both.
Whoa… The noodles are in a little bird’s nest – I always like that.
Click image to enlarge. Oh wow this isn’t fun for me. Noodles are those extremely this angel hairs – literally like hair. It’s really not my thing. Also, its not the kind of rice noodle I like at all – its not chewy; its almost mushy . Noodles don’t get my approval. So hopefully the broth is good and makes everything come together…
Not so much. The broth has a nice flavor, but it is definitely overshadowed by the oil. Very greasy and gross. The Onions themselves aren’t great in it either.
Here’s what I say about this stuff – YUCK. I’m going to say that I used to have a good length beard and from time to time I would wake up and it would be in my mouth. That’s what these noodles were like. Eating these noodles was like eating your own hair with some vegetable oil and onions mixed in.. I’m giving it a 0.0 out of 5.0 stars. That’s right folks – the big zero zip zilch. I think I’ve only given one other instant noodle that rating and it was a long long time ago.
So after a long walk I was really quite hungry and decided to go with something simple and figured this would taste nice. Fresh shrimp sounds nice. I also really love how this brand has the text in another language – looks like dutch perhaps? Frisk Rekesmak!!!
Skint on packets – but two is better than one.
The powder had all those nice green onions in it and the oil was sesame. A nice little arrangement here.
And here we are presented with a bowl of frisk rekesmak nudlers (click image to enlarge)…. I really liked these; they ere what I expected. A nice consistency to the noodles. The broth was tasty and had a decent amount of vegetables for a package of noodles in the 50-79 cent range. I liked it. 3.25 out of 5.0 stars. Get it here.
