I started doing this big advent calendar 2 weeks ago today – pretty crazy! It’s going very well thus far it seems! Thought I’d mention – if you like following, that’s great – I have my posts going out on quite a few platforms, but a couple have barely anyone following. I’m on Substack and Bluesky – it seems people started noticing that and then poof. So, I thought I’d remind folks that if they like those, I’m there. Tumblr too for what it’s worth. Now, on with the review!
Nissin Demae Ramen Spicy – Germany
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Says Vegan on the package but check for yourself. To prepare, boil noodle in 500ml water for 3 minutes. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added LKK chili garlic sauce, sesame seed, egg, scallion, chashu, and narutomaki. Noodle is just right – well hydrated and a great gauge. The broth is like a spicy version of the sesame Demae Ramen – oiliness on point, sesame notes and little heat. Really excellent stuff. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 8712429361106.
