Here’s another from Pher Engi – thanks! So Vit’s is a very long-lived company in Malaysia and have been making noodle products for ages. This is a dry variety with a shrimp paste and spicy nature. Sounds good to me – let’s give it a try.
Vit’s Dried Chilli Pan Mee Shrimp Chilli Flavored Pan Mee – Malaysia
Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Contains shrimp. To prepare, boil noodle for 3 minutes. Drain. Add in large sachet contents and mix well. Finally, garnish with shallot and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added crushed red pepper, scallion, and sesame seed. Noodle is nice and thick with a good chewiness. The flavor was a spicy prawn hit – with that signature sweetness and strength I expect from a Malaysian variety. The fried shallot added a satifying bit of crunchiness. 4.0 out of 5.0 stars.
