Here’s one that we found at my personal Canadian Disneyland, Smart’n’Save at the Lansdowne Centre Mall up in Richmond, BC. Man, I love that little store! Anyways, yeah this one looks pretty neat – shoyu’s on the menu today! Let’s hit it!
Nissin Asahikawa Hokkaido Shoyu Ramen – Japan
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Unsure, but most likely contains pork. To prepare, add noodles to 450ml boiling water and cook for 4 minutes. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!

A dry sachet.
A wet sachet.
Finished (click to enlarge). Added cashu, soft egg, Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, narutomaki, chili oil, nanami togarashi, negi. Well, I did find the noodles to my liking. This is a really dark broth on this shoyu and has a strong seaweed bump to it. It had so much promise but I just couldn’t jump for joy, or for anything. 2.0 out of 5.0 stars.
