Okay so I’ve reviewed this one in the past, however they’ve changed the recipe. Nissin Singapore sent me samples for review (thank you!) and so I’ve been going through many of these new version cups.
I looked up Kyushu White and really couldn’t find much. I did find a press release from 2015 about the initial release of Kyushu White (alongside another flavor I have not seen – Thai Basil Chicken). It mentions garlic flavor in this one. The open sesame mention makes me think there’s more sesame flavor. Let’s have a look and see what there is to see!
Nissin Cup Noodles Kyushu White Flavour (Open Sesame) – Singapore
Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains chicken. To prepare, add boiling water to fill line and steep 3 minutes. Add in liquid sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy!
Detail of the lid (click to enlarge).
The noodle block.
Lots of seasoning and garnish loose in the cup.
A liquid sachet.
Seasoned oil.
Finished (click to enlarge). Noodles were thin and light on the chew. The broth was thick and had a kind of sesame-garlic balance to it, going to and fro between the two which was interesting. The included garnish was ample and I enjoyed it, especially the egg. 3.5 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 8888279103002.
