Here’s the second and final product of this Meet The Manufacturer review series of Blount Fine Foods products. So this is one you’ll find in the refrigerated section at the supermarket and looks very fancy. Indeed as I said in the last review, I really like the little cut out on the front as seen above with the steam coming off the bowl.
These products are made with high-quality chicken raised without antibiotics and other great ingredients. Definitely, one poised to compete in the premium fresh sector of the market as well as the health conscious sector as well. Anyways, the proof is in the pudding – actually, I’m glad there’s no pudding in here which wouldn’t work so well (okay, there was a short lived fad in Taiwan where people mixed cup custards with instant noodle cups but I digress). Let’s have a look at this product from the inside out.
Blount Chicken Ramen Bowl – United States
The informational section from the bottom of the cardboard outer packaging (click to enlarge). Contains chicken. To prepare, remove lid and film from the bowl and add noodles from the pouch. Stir. Microwave for 2 minutes. Stir and microwave and additional minute or until hot. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Finished (click to enlarge). Added Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, spring onion, and shichimi togarashi. I will admit I was a little worried about how the noodles would be – after 2 minutes in the microwave, they still seemed rather rigid on the stir. But after the final minute, they came out great – excellent gauge and chew. The broth is very thick here but not oily. It has large pieces of vegetable and chicken – and it all has a fresh taste to it – kind of like it’s been simmering on the stove all day. Definitely gave me a warm and cozy ‘I’m going to eat this whole bowl right now’ feeling. Delicious and worthy! 5.0 out of 5.0 stars. UPC bar code 077958313032.
