So this looks a lot like Nissin’s Yakisoba… Hmmm…. I wonder if it is as good? Better? Let’s see…
Click image to enlarge. Top looks very familiar… Note the top left pour spout cover.
Four good sized packets…
Click image to enlarge. Noodles are good – not much backbone but they have spirit! The vegetables are ample and crisp! The sauce flavor is very yakisoba and the green packet at the end? Sprinkle me up some seaweed! This is the good stuff. Highly recommended! 4.75 out of 5.0 stars – was slightly dry. Get it here.
So this stuff is uber elite – probably one of the most amazing things I’ve ever had in the world of instant noodles. It’s 5 / 5 stars right off the bat. I’ve had this maybe three or four times and every time I find it just a little more amazing.
Upon removing the plastic outer covering is the lid of the box. Everything’s in Japanese, but it’s pretty self explanatory.
Dry powder packet.
Super ultra amazingness. You squeeze the sides together and it squirts dual goo streams of mayo and mustard – wasabi flavored! Ohhh yes…
The reservoirs of goo lay in wait.
Noodle block has the veggies just sitting underneath.
On the other side is a drain spout! Very awesome.
So after filling up to line with boiling water and a good sit’n’drain, and adding the dry powder and a goodly stir, here’s the finished product.
Then the goo is applied. Ohhh magical goo….
There you have it (click image to enlarge)! Yakisoba bowl by Nissin that blows away anything you can find domestically. This is a truly good thing to behold. It tastes soooo good. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars!!!!!!! By the way – I got this at the Uwajimaya in Seattle, WA. It’s the only place I know of where I can get it in Washington state.
