This one was sent by the company along with their squid yakisoba which I reviewed last week. I was first introduced to this brand by a reader named Wes from northeast Canada who sent samples. These are made by Tokushima Seifun in Japan. Let’s check ’em out!
Kinchan Noodle – Japan

Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Unsure whether it contains meat – check for yourself. To prepare, add sachet contents and boiling water to fill line. Cover for 3 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy!

Detail of the lid (click to enlarge).

The noodle block.

A dry sachet.

A light powder.

Another dry sachet.

A neat assortment of garnish.

Finished (click to enlarge). Added spring onion, Salad Cosmo mung bean sprouts, soft egg, sesame seeds, and shichimi togarashi. Noodles came out quite nicely. Broth had a nice kind of salty pork taste to it which was worthy. The little extras though – mushroom and tempura and shrimp and sliced pork and minced pork – that was a real neat deal and I’m very happy with this one. 5.0 out of 5.0 stars.
