So far I’ve been so pleased with the Vina Acecook products. Everything’s been so nice about them. So let’s try a new one – a bowl noodle this time.

#362: Vina Acecook Daily Instant Noodles Mi Canh Chua Hot & Sour With Shrimp
So here’s another of Vina Acecook’s line of ‘Daily’ instant noodles, hot & sour with shrimp. Sounds good to me; the picture on the front is definitely enticing…
#233: Tat Hui Koka Instant Rice Noodles Tom Yum Flavor
So some new stuff. I like Tom Yum flavor noodle soup usually so hpoing this should be nice. I really liked the last Koka bowl noodle I had recently – it had a packet of coconut powder in it – weird!
#172: MAMA Oriental Style Instant Flat Noodles (Tom Yam)
So I asked Kit to pick out two packs of noodles for me to try next. Here’s the first one. I’m curious whether it’ll be any good; the MAMA brand has reviews on here from 1 to 4 stars so we’ll just have to see. By the way, on the back in two places it says tom yum instead of tom yam like it does on the front. I’m going to go with tom yum being correct and the yam being a typo.
#136: MAMA Shrimp Creamy Tom Yum Flavour Oriental Style Instant Noodles
Some noodles from Thailand today. I’ve reviewed some noodles that are by MAMA and Tom Yum but not the creamy.
#126: MAMA Instant Rice Vermicelli Tom Yam Koong Flavour
So this is an interesting one. The package weighs practically nothing and the noodle blocks is extremely thin. Weirdness….
#106: GreeNoodle Tom Yum Flavor
So today here’s review #98 – the weird GreeNoodle… These noodles contain some kind of weird ingredient called moroheiya. “Moroheiya is a super vegetable that is more nutritious than spinach, carrots, or borccoli in most aspects” is written on the back and cite as a quote by the ‘Japanese Ministry.’ although which Ministry that would be is unclear to me.
#92: Fashion Food Tom Yum Seafood Creamy Flavour Instant Noodles
So this was a neat little presentation. Came with its own bowl and lid – looks to be reusable as well.
#29: Namchow Mee-Jang Tom Yum Shrimp Bowl
Namchow: Tom Yum Shrimp Bowl Stars: *** 1/2
Notes: Just polished it off a minute ago. Not extremely complicated but a very satisfying bowl.
Upon opening the packaging, the consumer is greeted by two small but very clear pouches
of which one contains a mix of chili oil/seasoning oil, and the other a base with
dehydrated meat ad vegetables. After leaving it to steep with some boiling water, the
end product is a bowl full of bright red broth and some really greasy noodles. Wasn’t a
really hot bowl; on the contrary, it was very citrussy flavored. But very very greasy. I
can’t begin to describe how greasy it is! A worthy bowl of noodles on it’s own.
