Meet The Manufacturer: #1775: JML Spicy King Bowl Noodle Spicy Beef Noodle

The other day I reviewed the pack version of this one, and today it’s the bowl! I wasn’t sure who the lady on the bowl was but found out – her name is Dee Hsu – here’s a little on her from Wikipedia –

Dee Hsu (Chinese: 徐熙娣; pinyin: Xú Xīdì; Wade–Giles: Hsü Hsi-ti), more commonly known as Xiǎo S or Little S (小S), was born on 14 June 1978. She is a Taiwanese host, actress, and singer. She is well known for her quick-witted caustic humor as being a co-host of the most popular talk show in Taiwan KangXi Lai Le which airs on Chung T’ien Television with fellow host Kevin Tsai since 2004, for which they were awarded Best Host in a Variety Programme at the 40th Golden Bell Awards in 2005.[3]

Let’s see what’s in this bowl!

Here’s detail of the side panels (click image to enlarge). Contains beef. To prepare, partially lift lid, add contents of all sachets into bowl. Pour sufficient boiling water into bowl to cover noodles. Replace lid to reseal bowl, let stand for 3-5 minutes. Stir and enjoy!

An included fork!

The noodle block.

A powder base sachet.

Nice and fluffy.

A liquid sachet.

Has a beefy scent.

A sachet of…

…seaweed!

The vegetables sachet.

A nice mixture.

Finished (click image to enlarge). Added beef, white onion, broccoli and red chillies. The noodles hydrated very nicely – plump and of decent quality. The broth was spicy with a Sichuan chilli hit – see tongue numbing! It has a very nice flavor to it and a good oiliness. The kelp went very well and the dehydrated vegetables came out great – good stuff! 4.25 out of 5.0 stars.  EAN bar code 6921555591345.
